New Zealand 2006

I finally got a chance to take my vacation to a place I always want to go - South Island of New Zealand. This time no work at all. But then you probably ask, "Don't all your trips like a vacation anyway ? wasting our tax-payers money ?" ... oh well

800+ pictures, 2000 Kilometers, and 13 days later, I finally on my way to complete my long and enjoyable trip to the south island of NZ. I am glad that I have a chance to take this trip especially with the the generous help of Uncle Sam. I think NZ is a great country. I am impressed with the people particularly. They are nicer than nice, friendlier than friendly. I felt like I am one of the Kiwi among this warmth and welcome island. The country nature sceneries are spectacular to put it mildly. Seem like everywhere you go, all you see are green grass, trees with the majestic mountains on the background along with thousand and thousands of lambs going through their slow pace of easy life style. And then the colorful coastline filled with massive of blue and light blue hue crystal clear water. I don't remember how many times I stopped just to glare out at this blue-hue water that seem to stretch out to the end of the earth.

Looking back, I have done and seen lots of stuffs that I probably won't be able to do anywhere. especially the galcier walk and whale-watching. I enjoy almost all the places I stopped by. At the tail end of this trip, I am feeling a bit of tired with the many thousand kilometers I have put on. So I just want to get back home where all the 'familiarties' are there like sleeping on the same bed instead of the 10+ motels I stayed at. Now, I am back to where I belong but that is fine. You need to get out sometime. Yo'all should get out here ! I am just glad that I have a chance to GET OUT this time !

Anyway, check out the picts at,

(2 albums there, my recommendation is to use the 'slide view' to see them).
